Thank you...
We provide a suitable environment for practice of yoga. A spacious hall is where we hold most of our sessions. Our sessions are never overcrowded and the batch strength varies from just three to four (the international student batches) and a maximum of fifteen to twenty students (the local student batches). Shri Jayakumar also conducts classes in Mysore University.
In the process Sri Jayakumar ends up holding around six batches a day. However he teaches and practices enthusiastically and with diligence, encouraging the students to overcome their laziness! He practices asanas while teaching and his energy rubs of on the students and this contributes to the positive environment for practice at Pranava Yoga Dhama.
A feature of our yoga classes is that adjustments are made to accommodate people with different physical ability ranging from experts to people with ailments.
Basic set of yoga practices for all. All the classes are comprised of pranayama, set of asanas covering all the possible movements, and a special technique or meditation. Classes begin with prayers and end with shavasana and prayers.
Advanced set of yogic techniques for advanced students.
Special attention and teaching practice is given to those aiming to teach yoga.
Basic set of yoga practices for special ailments.
Special techniques and counseling on an individual basis.
